Arrests of Roman Catholic Priest and Seminarian in Jiangxi Provinces

Stamford, Connecticut, U.S.A. - Rev. XIA Shao-Wu, a Roman Catholic priest, and Mr. ZENG Zhong-Liang, a Roman Catholic seminarian, both belonging to the unofficial Catholic Church in China, i.e. loyal to the Pope, were kidnapped and arrested by the Chinese government at an intersection about 5 miles from Hang Bu Xiang, Chong Ren Xian in Jiangxi Province at about 10 AM December 30, 1994.
